The Canadian Soccer Association has announced that the Canadian women’s national team will host China PR this 30 September 2010 at BMO Field in Toronto, ON. The Women’s International Friendly match, to be presented by Winners, will kickoff at 19.30 local. Tickets for the match go on sale this Wednesday 1 September via Ticketmaster (Ticketmaster.ca / 416.872.5000).
Coach Stephen Hart has announced his roster for the upcoming Men’s International Friendly series against Peru and Honduras in Toronto and Montréal. Coach Hart has selected 20 players for the two-match series, with the team schedule to meet this coming week in Alliston, ON. Canada plays Peru on 4 September at BMO Field in Toronto and Honduras on 7 September at Stade Saputo in Montréal.
The Canadian Soccer Association has launched a new Governance Blog for the general public. The Governance Blog will address questions from the soccer public with respect to the membership’s approved governance framework. Posted questions from the public will be addressed by the Constitution Committee.
Canada’s women’s national team has announced the roster for its upcoming camp in Roma, Italy. The camp runs 25 August to 12 September and precedes the upcoming Women’s International Friendly match in Dresden, Germany.

Canada remains the second-ranked country within CONCACAF, behind the world’s number-one ranked USA. Canada improved by three points, but were overtaken and fell from a tie for 11th place to 13th place in the global ranking.

CONCACAF, the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, has announced the groups and dates for the CONCACAF Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2010 – Mexico. This year’s tournament, which will serve as the qualification tournament for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Germany 2011, will feature eight teams participating in Cancún and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
La Confédération de football d’Amérique du Nord, d’Amérique centrale et des Caraïbes, mieux connue comme la CONCACAF (Confederation Of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) a dévoilé les groupes et l’horaire de l’édition 2010 des Éliminatoires de la Coupe du Monde Féminine de la CONCACAF ayant lieu au Mexique. Le championnat continental de cette année comprend la participation de huit équipes qui disputeront des matchs aux villes mexicaines de Cancún et Playa del Carmen et sert aussi comme voie de qualification pour la Coupe du Monde Féminine de la FIFA 2011 ayant lieu en Allemagne.
