Canada will face Greece in a Men’s International Friendly match this Wednesday 9 February. On the first FIFA International Date of 2011, Canada and Greece will kick off at 17.00 at the A.E.L FC Arena in Larissa, Greece.
Canada’s national team took part in its first team training session today in Larissa, Greece. The national team traveled to Alkazar Stadium where it trained under the watchful eye of national head coach Stephen Hart. The team is preparing for the Men’s International Friendly match this Wednesday 9 February 2011 against Greece.
The Canadian Soccer Association membership adopted by-laws in support of a new governance framework at its Special General Meeting held in Ottawa this Saturday 5 February 2011. The Canadian match will be broadcast on Wednesday 9 February at 10.00 ET / 07.00 PT (17.00 local kick off in Larissa, Greece).
The fourth and final ticket sales phase for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011™ comes to a close on Sunday, 20 February, meaning there are less than three weeks left to secure tickets for all the top matches, including games involving hosts Germany and the final in Frankfurt on 17 July.
