Canadian tour of New Zealand

The Dominion of Canada Football Association delegation traveled by boat to New Zealand. The team left Vancouver on 5 May 1927 via the RMS Niagara, with a stop in Honolulu on the way to Auckland (a 19-day trip). Wrote player David Turner, “each player received a blazer, two sport shirts, two pairs of flannels and a very complete football strip, all packed neatly in a substantial club bag, initialed in gold. The quality of every article was excellent, and, as sizes had been requested in advance, fits were comparatively good.”
