Overview

The Concacaf A Diploma focuses on developing and refining the student coach’s capacity to meet the demands of coaching elite youth and top level senior amateur players in a performance environment.

Prerequisites

To apply, you must meet all the following criteria:

●      Licence: Valid Canadian B Licence (held for 12+ months) or approved International Equivalent.

●      Role: coaching elite youth and/or top level senior amateur players

●      Clearance: Valid Criminal Record Check

●      Safe Sport Roster: complete and up to date

Admissions Timeline

●      Apply (Jan 1 – Mar 31): Applications close strictly at the end of the business day on March 31. Coaches will be expected to submit a 20 video of them coaching.

●      Review (April – June): All applicants are screened during this period.

●      Notification (By June 30): Acceptance or rejection notices are sent.

●      Acceptance: Selected individuals have 30 days to accept their spot and pay the fee in full.

Course Details

Format & Attendance

●      In-Person: Two workshops (5.5 days each) comprising classroom and field work.

●      Online: A mix of self-paced (asynchronous) and collaborative (synchronous) learning.

●      Attendance Policy: Coaches must attend 100% of all sessions to be licensed.

Fees ($4,400)

●      Includes: Mentor support, content access, facility rentals, onsite lunches during in-person sessions, digital tools, and Canada Soccer branded Nike equipment (excluding footwear).

●      Excludes: Travel, accommodations, breakfast/dinner, and costs associated with filming practical sessions.

2026/27 Workshop Schedule

Coaches will be expected to attend one (1) synchronous session each month excluding the months of January and February when they will be expected to attend two (2) sessions per month. Synchronous sessions dates will be provided when coaches are offered a seat in the course.
