Four women's international teams competed in the 2013 Yongchuan Cup from 12-16 January, with all four teams playing their opponent once in the round-robin competition. Norway finished first (2-1-0) ahead of second-place Canada (1-1-1), third-place China PR (1-0-2) and fourth-place Korea Republic (1-0-2). Canada opened with a win against China PR, then lost to Korea Republic, and then closed out with a draw against unbeaten Norway. During the competition, seven Canadian players made their international debut. Norway's captain Marit Fiane Christensen was named the tournament's most valuable player.
