Canada Soccer
Qualified candidates will possess the competencies and/or expertise necessary to make independent, fact-based decisions related to a wide range of disciplinary cases within the jurisdiction of Canada Soccer, including for Tier 1 Professional Club competitions. The Canada Soccer Disciplinary Committee shall be composed in such a way that the members together have the knowledge, abilities and specialist expertise that is necessary for the completion of their tasks.
In accordance with the Canada Soccer Disciplinary Code and accompanying Annex and the FIFA Disciplinary Code, the Canada Soccer Disciplinary Committee is responsible for evaluating disciplinary cases and determining applicable disciplinary measures. Members of the Canada Soccer Disciplinary Committee may also be selected to sit on Canada Soccer’s Incident Review Body, a panel responsible for reviewing incidents and determining if a prima facie case for issuing a charge exists.

The time commitment will range depending on the time of year, however members of the Disciplinary Committee can expect to contribute up to four (4) hours of their time (virtually) per week during active seasons/competitions. Rarely, domestic travel may be required in order to attend Personal Hearings and/or meetings of the Committee.

Qualified individuals nominated to serve as a member of the Canada Soccer Disciplinary Committee will be forwarded to the Canada Soccer Members to be elected at the Annual Meeting of the Members in May 2025.
