The young Canucks scored twice and each half and posted their first clean sheet of the tournament. After Jacen Russell-Rowe opened the scoring and a Barbados own goal made it 2-0, Kamron Habibullah made it 3-0 and substitute Jérémie Omeonga rounded out the scoring with Canada's fourth goal.
With the victory, Canada advanced to the Round of 16 phase of the competition.
