CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship

Canada won a silver medal at the 2012 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in Panama. After winning all three group matches, Canada won 6:0 over the hosts in the 9 March semi-final to qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Japan 2012. Two nights later, they lost the final in heart-breaking fashion, conceding the USA winner in the 89th minute. Despite the loss, Canada took home their fourth medal in five editions of the competition (gold in 2004 and 2008; silver in 2006 and 2012).
