Canada closed out the group phase in second place after a close 0:1 defeat to USA in the group finale at the 2018 Concacaf Women's Under-17 Championship. Both sides hit the post in the opening half before Reilyn Turner scored the lone goal on a header in the 65th minute from a corner kick.
Canada advance to the Concacaf semi-finals to face rivals Mexico while USA also advance to face Haiti. Both semi-finals are Sunday 10 June with the winners earning two of Concacaf's three spots to the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Uruguay 2018.
