Match Report

CF Montreal opened the scoring in the 14’ as a pass from Waterman connected with Matko Miljevic who then made a beautiful pass through two Forge FC defenders to Sunusi Ibrahim who ran it in the box and took a low shot off his right foot which passed Triston Henry for a goal.

Waterman passed it to Miljevic who passed it to Kamara and then into the box and crossed it to Sunusi Ibrahim for his second goal of the match in the 22’.

Sunusi Ibrahim scored again for a hat trick with a free-kick just outside the left of the box from Miljevic in the 49’.

Bekker made a pass to David Choinière whose shot curved wide of goal (59’).

In the 67’ Waterman made a powerful shot but Triston Henry made a huge save to put it over the crossbar.

David Choinière took a shot outside the box which forced James Pantemis to push it over the crossbar.

Sunusi Ibrahim's three goal performance saw him named as the Gatorade Performance of the Match.

CF Montreal starting lineup featured six Canadian players: Captain Samuel Piette, goalkeeper James Pantemis, Zachary Brault-Guillard, Joel Waterman, Zorhan Bassong and Mathieu Choiniere.
