The Technical Leadership Diploma is designed to develop a technical leader’s understanding of the role and competencies required to lead the technical elements of an amateur youth club. It is targeted to technical directors and similar roles working in amateur youth clubs, districts/regions, and Provincial/Territorial Member Associations.

To apply, you must meet all the following criteria:
● Licence: Valid Canadian B Licence and Children’s Licence or approved International Equivalents.
● Role: Currently a technical director or equivalent role.
● Clearance: Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen
● Apply (February): Applications close strictly at the end of the business day on February 28.
● Review (March): All applicants are screened during this period.
● Notification (By March 20): Acceptance or rejection notices are sent.
● Acceptance: Selected candidates have until the start of the workshop to accept their spot and pay the fee in full.
Format & Attendance
● In-Person: Two workshops (3.5 days and 3 days) comprised of classroom work.
● Online: A mix of self-paced (asynchronous) and collaborative (synchronous) learning.
● Attendance Policy: Coaches must attend 100% of all sessions to be licenced.
Fees ($3,150)
● Includes: Mentor support, content access, facility rentals, and digital tools.
● Excludes: Travel, accommodations, meals, costs associated with study visit.
