Johannes Gerardus Iking... he was married to his wife Corry (they had children William John and Marlene)... he moved from Arnhem, NED to Calgary, AB, CAN in 1951... he was 80 years old when he passed away in Calgary on 4 March 1999... grew up participating in soccer, basketball, swimming and track and field... worked for the City of Calgary... worked as a Physical Education teacher... suffered from multiple sclerosis...
represented Canada in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in 1957, of note the first-ever Canadian team to feature in the competition...
