Trevor Harvey... his father Arthur was born in England while his mother was born in Scotland... married his wife Doris Rees (their children were Cathy and Trevor Jr)... he was 71 years old when he passed away in Salmon Arm, BC on 24 July 1988... played soccer, lacrosse, basketball and billiards... enlisted with the Seaforth Highlanders... in 1939, he was discharged from the armed forces after the death of his father (officials decided that the youngster was needed at home)... worked as a fireman...

posthumously posthumously honoured by the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame as a player (he was shortlisted as an original alternate by The Soccer Hall of Fame in 2000 and then honoured as part of the Class of 2004)... honoured by the BC Sports Hall of Fame and posthumously honoured by the Soccer Hall of Fame of British Columbia... in 1950, he was one of 16 footballers shortlisted in a Best in 50 Years poll by The Canadian Press... as part of Canada Soccer’s Centennial in 2012, recognised in the Best XI from 50 Years (1912-1962)...

a four-time Dominion of Canada Football Championship winner (Challenge Trophy in 1936, 1937, 1938, and 1949)... he was just the third four-time national winner (following Dickie Stobbart and Dave Turner)... an eight-time BC Province Cup winner (1936, 1938, 1941, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1948, 1949) and four-time Dominion Cup provincial series winner (1936, 1937, 1938, 1949)... a five-time Mainland Cup winner (1940, 1941, 1944, 1946, 1949) and one-time Jackson Cup winner (1942)... he was North Shore United FC’s fourth-best goalscorer across their post-1939 Pacific Coast League history (44 goals scored across three stints, 1939-40 to 1940-41, 1942-43 to 1949-50,1951-52 to 1953-54, fourth best behind Jimmy Spencer’s 120 goals)...
