Marcus Haber... speaks English, but also learned some Dutch while playing football in Europe... his father was born in Vancouver while his mother was born in Edmonton... his father spent his teenaged years in Austria... he was five years old when he started playing soccer for Dunbar Soccer Association... grew up competing in soccer, basketball, baseball and track... enjoys music, shopping, video games, hanging out with friends... favourites have included Thierry Henry, Emmanuel Adebayor, Arsenal, Liverpool... other favourites have included Kobe Bryant, Vancouver Canucks...

represented Canada in two cycles of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and two editions of the Concacaf Gold Cup... career 27 international "A" appearances across eight years from 2010 to 2017 with Canada Soccer's Men's National Team… from the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, was noted by the Technical Study Group for being an “area player, good ball possession, practical”... represented Canada at one FIFA youth tournament (U-20 at Canada 2007)...
