Jimmy Galloway... soccer family (brother Bill)... he moved from Glasgow, SCO to Toronto, ON, CAN in 1919... played 21 seasons of major football in Toronto starting in 1920...

as noted in 1923 in The Globe, he rose “from the junior ranks to become one of the best inside rights in the Dominion... he uses his brains all the time, which, coupled with his speedy and clever footwork, makes him one of the team’s most valuable players”... described in 1925 as “a player of experience and a valuable man on any forward line”... wrote the Toronto Star in 1931, Jimmy Moir and Jimmy Galloway were “the inseparable pair” with Toronto Ulster United FC... as noted before his intended final season of 1940, he was never cautioned and “I’m really proud of that record and it’s my ambition to finish my career without a black mark against my name”...
