Thomas Sylvester Taylor... he was 65 years old when he passed away in Winnipeg on 15 August 1945... worked for the A.R. Williams Machine Company... it was writen that “he always has a few tricks up his sleeve, his shooting is accurate and he is very fast”... wrote historian Colin Jose, Taylor “was considered to be the star of the Galt FC team and the best right winger in the Canadian game”...
won a gold medal with Canada at the St. Louis 1904 Olympic Football Tournament...
