POSITION: Partnership Servicing Coordinator 

REPORTS TO: Brand & Ticketing Manager 

LOCATION: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada 

Overview 

Based in Ottawa and reporting to the Brand & Ticketing Manager, the Partnership Servicing Coordinator is primarily responsible for delivering best-in-class servicing support for Canada Soccer marketing partners and suppliers, and managing the execution of Canada Soccer’s CIBC Soccer Fests program, Canada’s largest and longest running grassroots soccer program. The ideal candidate works well in a team environment and enjoys collaborating with others. You are organized and detail oriented; a strong communicator and an active listener and you have a passion for sports! 

Position Summary 

Partnership Servicing 

Directly support the marketing team with the overall management of all commercial partner relationships. Assist and support the fulfilment and delivery of all contractual obligations to partners including sponsor-related programs and promotions and event-related deliverables. Ensure accurate and timely tracking of all key partner value banks and inventories. Contribute to the execution and servicing of all agreements and work closely with partners and program/event staff to develop leveraging opportunities and cross promotions. Manage regular partnership status connects with all partners, capturing outcomes, next steps, and key notes from all meetings. Develop comprehensive reporting materials reflecting summary data for key performance indicators across all partners. 

CIBC Soccer Fests 

Collaborate with Brand & Ticketing Manager to ensure comprehensive execution of all CIBC Soccer Fests program components. Coordinate and facilitate all organization with Member Associations and grassroots community soccer club hosts. Ensure accurate and timely creation and distribution of program materials, inventory control and financial accountability. 

Marketing Department Activity & Programming 

Support the Marketing Department across a wide range of programs, events, initiatives, and campaigns to achieve organizational objectives. Coordinate the fulfillment of targeted gifting, contesting, and dontations. Manage and distribute core supplier product in support of a wide range of programming and across various Departments. Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing activations and events. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Solid understanding of marketing programs, events, and promotions, as well as experience in developing partner marketing plans 
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Customer-focused and a partner advocate 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to balance conflicting priorities in order to manage workflow, ensure the completion of essential projects and meet deadlines 
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, with an emphasis on strong PowerPoint and Excel skills 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technology / environments and easily acquire new specialized skills 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment 
  • Understanding of digital & social media 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel as required 
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Sports Marketing/Administration, Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field preferred 
  • 1-3 years experience in a partner management, partner servicing or marketing-related role 
  • Project management experience would be beneficial 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT 

  • On occasion, work unsupervised at an off-site location 
  • On occasion, work staggered hours, evenings, and weekends 
  • On occasion, travel will be required
