With extended, behind-the-scenes footage and never-before-seen interviews, Canada Soccer has launched the Canada Soccer Women’s National Team #WeCAN Documentary Series, presented by CIBC, following the team on the journey to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™. The Documentary Series will run across the four weeks leading-up to Canada’s opening match at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup ™, with an episode being released weekly.

The #WeCAN Documentary Series provides unique insight into the inner workings of Canada Soccer’s National Teams on the road to the biggest tournaments in the world of sports. Produced by Canada Soccer, the series is spoken in the ‘athlete’s voice,’ thus providing an opportunity for the players and staff of the National Teams to tell their story in their own words.

In Episode 4 of the series, “The Arrival”, the intensity ramps up as #CANWNT take part in their final pre- FIFA Women’s World Cup training camp in France in April. The cameras visit Christine Sinclair & Bev Priestman in Vancouver with only weeks remaining until the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The team arrives in Australia as Head Coach Priestman is faced with tough final decision to nail down her tournament roster and Canada sets foot in the stadium that will host their opening match at Australia & New Zealand 2023™.
