CANWNT set to make a fourth appearance at the SheBelieves Cup
As the annual SheBelieves Cup, presented by Visa®, hits its 11th year, the participants, match venues and game dates have been confirmed for one of the most prestigious four-team tournaments in women’s soccer.
In 2026, the tournament takes on a Concacaf vs. CONMEBOL slant as tenth-ranked CANWNT clashes with hosts USA as well as South American contenders Argentina and Colombia. The USA is currently ranked second in the world, Colombia is 20th and Argentina is 30th. Canada and the USA are the two highest-ranked teams in the Concacaf region while Colombia and Argentina faced each other in the semifinals of the 2025 Copa American Feminina, with Colombia winning on penalty kicks before losing the final on penalties to Brazil.
This will be the fourth SheBelieves Cup appearance for CANWNT after participating in 2024 (second place), 2023 (fourth) and 2021 (third).
Nashville, TN will host matches on 1 March, Columbus, OH will host on 4 March and Harrison, NJ will host on 7 March. Ticket presales for all three matches begin tomorrow, 8 January, on ussoccer.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, 12 January.
“This competition is a fantastic opportunity to once again measure ourselves against high-quality opponents who are all likely to be at the 2027 World Cup. The SheBelieves Cup has served as a great test for our group in previous years and we’re thrilled to be able to return for another chance to win the competition. Each team brings a different style which will pose a challenge and ultimately prepare us to become the team we need to be.”
– Casey Stoney, Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team Head Coach
