Ottawa, Ontario – The Canadian Soccer Association today announced that following a meeting with The Football Confederation (CONCACAF) President, Jack Warner, the match between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago scheduled for Saturday May 27 at Toronto’s Varsity Stadium has been reconfirmed.
Ottawa, Ontario – The Canadian Soccer Association today announced that following a meeting with The Football Confederation (CONCACAF) President, Jack Warner, the match between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago scheduled for Saturday May 27 at Toronto’s Varsity Stadium has been reconfirmed.
“We are pleased to reconfirm our friendly match vs Trinidad and Tobago on May 27 at Varsity Stadium,” stated CSA President Jim Fleming. “Our meeting with President Warner was extremely positive and we look forward to welcoming the T&T National Team to Toronto for this important preparation match for our squad.”
The Football Confederation President (CONCACAF) President Jack Warner was also pleased with the meeting with CSA. “We have excellent relations with Canada and look forward to continuing our series of international challenges with our Northern friends,” he commented. “The Trinidad and Tobago national team will arrive in Toronto on May 24 and train at Varsity Stadium on May 26 in preparation for our match on the Saturday,” concluded Warner.
The match is slated for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff on May 27 at Varsity Stadium in Toronto.
