Canada Soccer’s National Championships have served as the nation’s primary amateur soccer competition for more than 100 years. Across six divisions in three age categories, the competition features qualified teams from coast to coast across the country. At all age levels, the National Championships provide a meaningful week-long soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, as well as the players, coaches, support staff, officials, and volunteers.
As part of Canada Soccer’s Youth Competitions Network, the youth National Championships in October (competitive clubs from across the country) complements the Player-Development Championship in August (clubs from Canada’s four standards-based leagues). This year, Canada Soccer will welcome 80 youth teams that will qualify through their respective provincial and league competitions with more than 750 teams expected to compete in the eight youth divisions across the two age groups in two streams.
