“This game will add experience to the younger players on the team,” said head coach Even Pellerud. “We are looking at what impact the younger generation of players will have at the senior level. Presently, the U-19 team is our priority heading into November.”

The game, which will be played at the home of the Tennessee Titans of the NFL, will mark the 34th time these two rivals have faced each other. The US defeated Canada 2-0 at the Four Nations Tournament in China on February 3 and came away with a 3-1 win in the 2003 Women’s World Cup Third Place Match in October.

This will be Canada’s first game since the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Costa Rica in March.

Rogers Sportsnet will carry the game on all four digital networks on a delay basis.
