Nigeria Series Cancelled

Ottawa, Ontario – The Canadian Soccer Association announced today its scheduled games between the Women’s World Cup Team and Nigeria have been cancelled after Nigeria failed to arrive in South Carolina.

Despite a written agreement between the CSA and the Nigerian Football Association committing to the two games in Spartanburg, South Carolina on April 18 and 20, the Nigerian delegation has yet to arrive in the United States. The Nigerian FA now says the team will arrive in the United States on April 23 for their game against the USA on April 26.
