Match day experience set for Canada v England match in Hamilton

Canada Soccer is pleased to offer a full match day experience to all fans attending the match

With only a few seats left for the Canada v England Women’s International Soccer Match this Friday, 29 May at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Canada Soccer is pleased to offer a full match day experience to all fans attending the match.

As the official ‘send-off’ for the Canadian squad, Canada Soccer encourages tickets holders to join in the celebration by arriving early to the stadium and engage in a series of activities designed specifically for fans.

Pre-Match Fan Fest
The Canada Soccer pre-match Fan Fest, starting at 17.00, will feature an array of interactive activities and exciting giveaways from Canada Soccer’s corporate partners. Fans will be able to:

  • Visit the Canada Soccer tent to pick-up the match day roster sheet and Canada Soccer stickers
  • Take part in BMO’s life-sized foosball match
  • Learn more about UNICEF’s #HighFiveIt campaign
  • Grab some free sunscreen from Ombrelle and take a “Team” photo with members of Canada’s Women’s National Team
  • Take your best shot at some great snacks and receive a noise maker at the booth of the official snacks of Canada Soccer, Maynards, Chips Ahoy!, Stride and Ritz
  • Show us your Game Face in Bells activation area
  • Have your photo taken with life size cut-outs of Canada’s Women’s National Team at the Canadian Tire booth
  • And more!

In the Stadium
Upon entry into the stadium, the first 10,000 fans will receive Canadian Tire thunderstix. While in the stadium fans can visit the merchandise kiosks located throughout the stadium for Official Canada Soccer Umbro merchandise including replica National Team jerseys, Canada Soccer scarves, Women’s National Team posters and more!

Fans should make sure to find their seats early to ensure they don’t miss a moment of the match.

Fans can also download the Mondelez Pride & Joy app which features noisemakers and show their support for Canada’s Women’s National Team and turn their cheers into funds for youth soccer clubs SC Toronto, Eastside Memorial Soccer Club and Ajax FC. Halftime
Fans should stay in their seats at the start of halftime as we join UNICEF to break a Guinness World Record and help save children’s lives around the world.

Parking and Transportation
