Goalkeeper Carducci from Calgary’s Cavalry FC won the Golden Glove Award while midfielder Rea from Winnipeg’s Valour FC won the Best Canadian U-21 Player Award.

Each award is a unique piece of Inuit soapstone art carved by artists from Kinngait (Cape Dorset) and Mittimatalik (Pond Inlet), Nunavut.

Carducci is now a two-time winner of the CPL Golden Glove Award, presented annually to the league’s best goalkeeper. He previously won the award in 2019, the league’s inaugural season. Carducci co-led the league in 2022 with 10 clean sheets as his team finished third overall in the league standings. Rea, on loan from CF Montréal, led the league with a league-record nine assists as Valour FC finished fifth overall in the league standings.
