Canada’s men’s national team announced today that its home leg on 20 June will be broadcast live on Sportsnet West and THE TEAM 990. The 20 June match at Stade Saputo in Montréal will be the deciding leg in the home-and-away series between Canada and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines in Stage II of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ Qualifiers.

Canada’s men’s national team must win its two-match set in June to advance to Stage III of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ Qualifiers (August to November 2008). Canada plays on the road on 15 June (Kingstown) and at home on 20 June (Stade Saputo in Montréal – tickets available through admission.com or 514.790.1245).

The match will air live on Sportsnet West at 17.30 MT (16.30 PT or 19.30 ET). The match will be replayed on Sportsnet East (23.30 ET or 20.30 PT), Sportsnet Ontario (23.30 ET or 20.30 PT), and Sportsnet Pacific (24.00 PT or 03.00 ET). The broadcast will feature commentators Rob Faulds and former national-team captain Jason de Vos.

THE TEAM 990 will broadcast its radio show on AM 990 from Montréal, QC. The broadcast, which starts with a pre-game show at 19.00 ET, can also be picked up online at team990.com. The broadcast will feature commentators Brian Wilde, Grant Needham and Noel Butler.
