Halifax Dunbrack SC won their first Jubilee Trophy after they beat defending champions Edmonton Victoria SC in the 2010 Canadian Final at Canada Soccer’s National Championships. Halifax won 2:1 over Edmonton on the last day of the competition at the University of Prince Edward Island at Charlottetown.

Leanne Huck (9′) and Kate MacDonald (34′) were the goalscorers in the first half before Edmonton’s Keshia Wallin (90’+4) reduced the lead late into added time.

Coached by Jack Hutchison, Halifax Dunbrack SC’s starting lineup featured Elizabeth Cook (goal), Leanne Huck, Teresa Morrison, Ally Read, Jeanette Huck, Kate MacDonald, Julia Burton, Jenna Blackburn, Julie Lawrence, Kimberly Hardy, and Hannah Abenheimer. Also dressed for the Final were Kate Chisholm, Lianna deKoe, Laurel Fougere, Danielle Purcell and Katie Richards. Melanie Clarke was also part of the winning squad, but missed the Final. Alongside Hutchison, team staff featured Gary Carter, Cindy Morrison and Donna Hutchinson.

Ten teams took part in the final stage of Canada Soccer’s National Championships from 6 to 11 October in Charlottetown, Cornwall and Stratford, Prince Edward Island. In the group phase, Halifax beat Royal-Sélect Beauport, lost to hosts Charlottetown Abbies SC, then beat Selects Charlottetown and Holy Cross FC.
