FOX Sports World Canada To Broadcast Friendly

Ottawa, Ontario – Responding to a great deal of public interest, the Canadian Soccer Association, Soccer Canada Properties, and FOX Sports World Canada are pleased to announce that the digital network will broadcast live Canada’s upcoming international friendly match versus the United States of America.



The Canadian Men’s World Cup Team will play the American squad at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Canadian Men’s World Cup Team will play the American squad at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET.



There has been a large amount of Canadian interest concerning this match due to the natural cross border rivalry between Canada and its southern neighbours and particularly following last year’s Gold Cup where the Canadians lost on penalties to the Americans in the semi-finals following a 0-0 draw in regulation and extra time.
