Edmonton volunteers needed for the inaugural Player-Development Program Championship

Alberta Soccer opens volunteer registration for the inaugural Player-Development Program Championship

Canada Soccer’s inaugural Player-Development Program Championship will feature a group of dedicated volunteers from 14 to 18 August in Edmonton, Alberta. The new competition will feature 28 clubs across four divisions for the first year: the PDP U-17 Cup for boys and girls; and the PDP U-15 Cup for boys and girls.

The competition’s volunteer program is run by Alberta Soccer, who serve as the Local Organising Committee for the 2024 Player-Development Program Championship in Edmonton. All of the matches will be played at Bill Gilhespy Soccer Complex with the four Finals played consecutively on Sunday 18 August.

Volunteers play an important part in all of Canada Soccer’s amateur competitions, from the Futsal Canadian Championship in April to the Player-Development Program Championship in August and the Toyota National Championships in October.
