Dickson to officiate at 2014 Algarve Cup

Considered by some to be one of the most exciting women’s tournaments outside of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, the Algarve Cup runs from 5-12 March.

Sheena Dickson is one of six CONCACAF match officials appointed to the Algarve Cup.

Considered by some to be one of the most exciting women’s tournaments outside of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, the Algarve Cup runs from 5-12 March. It consists of 12 teams, many ranked in the top ten of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.

Dickson – who previously officiated at 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championship in Jamaica (24 October – 9 November) – will be one of 39 FIFA match officials at the Algarve Cup. It will be a competitive assignment for Dickson, who will also be the Fourth official on 8 May 2014 when Canada takes on USA at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg, MB.
