Ottawa, Ontario The Canadian Soccer Association today re-launched its new-look bilingual web site at migmultidev-canada-soccer.pantheonsite.io.
The site has been redesigned for a cleaner, fresher look with. Sections have been added on the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame and the History of Soccer in Canada. In addition, detailed and in-depth player bios have been created for all national team players.
The web site includes detailed information on Canada’s national teams, including head coach bios, player bios, team statistics such as appearances, international results, records vs other countries and goal scoring and goalkeeping leaders. There are direct links to upcoming games in Canada and recent results from the various national teams.

There are detailed sections on the CSA National Training Centres as well as coaching information, training drills and practice plans. The Referee Centre continues to expand with profiles on Canadian referees and FIFA Laws of the Game. There are also sections dedicated to the National Championships and the Tide Mini Soccer Program.
The site also has a direct link to the Road to China site which was developed to promote the upcoming games involving Canada’s Women’s World Cup Team as they play a number of international friendlies across Canada, beginning with a game on May 19 in Hamilton against England and culminating on September 4 in Vancouver against Mexico.
The popular CSA poll remains as well as CSA Flashes to tournaments such as the upcoming Men’s Gold Cup and the FIFA World Youth Championship. The CSA photo gallery has been expanded with team photos and action shots from all the various national teams.
Media will also be able to apply for accreditation online. An accreditation form has been included with media only required to fill in the application form and select the game(s) they wish to cover.
Canadian Women’s World Cup Team goalkeeper coach Shel Brodsgaard has written a book on goalkeeping entitled Guarding the Goal. The book is available by visiting the Online Store on the web site and clicking on the link.
