Coupe du Québec
Former national champions CS Rivière-des-Prairies won the 2025 Coupe du Québec men’s provincial championship as they qualified for Canada Soccer’s National Championships for the first time in 28 years. CS Rivière-des-Prairies won the Saturday Final 2:0 as they beat Union Lanaudière Sud on a pair of goals in the second half.
Felipe Teotonio scored the match winner on a penalty in the 49th minute before Aris Bouchachi scored late in the 94th minute. It was RDP’s third provincial title after previous wins in 1997 and 1998.
CS Rivière-des-Prairies won the National Championships in 1998 when they beat the Hamilton Serbians in Fredericton to lift the Challenge Trophy. Wilfredo Villalba was the hero on that day with the 1:0 match winner.
In the 6 September Final, CS Rivière-des-Prairies featured Louis-Philippe Magnan (goalkeeper), Jesus Jaime Cinco-Perez, Frédéric de Repentigny, Tidiane Allen Tuwend Keita, Pier-Olivier Lafontant, Yohan Lapointe, Elijah Reynaud, Gabriel Tetreault, Walter Aaron Wandje Nanfang, Tomas Chartrand, and Felipe Teotonio. The team also featured Joey Ayoub-Di Salvo, Nicolas Diaz, Mohamed Adnane El Kaml, Hansly Malonga, Aris Bouchachi, Xavier Briguet, and Daouda Diedhio. The team is coached by Chakib Hocine.
