Canada WNT connecting with fans ahead of USA match

Fans invited to take part events with team on Thursday and Friday in Toronto.

Fan’s of Canada WNT have two exciting opportunities to engage with the team ahead of Sunday’s highly-anticipated rematch with the United States at a sold-out BMO Field.

On Thursday 30 May Canada will host an open training session which will be highlighted by the unveiling of a new Umbro White National Team Jersey. The event, which is open to the public, will take place at BMO Field and run from 19.00 to 20.00.

On Friday 31 May the entire WNT team will be on hand to meet fans at a special event hosted by Canadian Soccer Association Corporate Partner BMO Financial Group at First Canadian Place in downtown Toronto from 10:30 – 11:30am.

Canada WNT open training session featuring unveiling of a new Umbro jersey:
Thursday 30 May, 19.00 to 20.00 (gates open 18.30), BMO Field, Toronto

Umbro Canada is set to unveil a new white National Team Jersey at Canada’s open training session on Thursday night at BMO Field. Fans in attendance will have a unique opportunity to watch Head Coach John Herdman take the Canadian squad through a practice session as he prepares for Sunday’s match against USA. Admission is just $10 (to cover facility rental costs) and the new Canada jersey will be available for purchase on-site.

BMO Autograph Session
Friday 31 May, 10.30 to 11.30, First Canadian Place, Toronto

BMO Financial Group, the Bank of Soccer in Canada and proud sponsor of the Canadian Soccer Association, will host Canada WNT at a fan rally in the Main Lobby of First Canadian Place (100 King Street West, Toronto) on Friday, May 31st.

The entire National Team including BMO Team of the Week ambassadors Diana Matheson, Erin McLeod and Rhian Wilkinson, will be on hand to interact with fans and sign autographs. The event which runs from 10.30-11.30AM includes an opportunity for fans in attendance to win a pair of tickets to the Canada-USA match and an autographed Canada Soccer jersey.
