Ottawa, Ontario – The Canadian Soccer Association today announced that its Senior Men’s National Team will play the National Team of Libya in Tripoli on February 12 followed up by a match versus Estonia in Tallinn on March 29. Both matches will represent the first time Canada has played either nation.

“I am pleased to get our Gold Cup preparation program into high gear so early in the year,” stated National Team Coach Holger Osieck. “These matches will help us in our preparations for the July Championship and I look forward to getting our players together again for these games.”

As both matches are co-ordinated within the FIFA International Calendar, the Canadian team will assemble in both locations approximately 3 days before each match for preparation.

The CONCACAF Gold Cup will be played July 12-27, 2003 in USA.
