Canada Soccer’s eNational Team kicks off FIFAe Nations Online Qualifying

Canada Soccer’s eNational Team continues qualifying pathway

Canada Soccer’s eNational team will participate in the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers taking place on 21-23 April. The FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers are the next step on the journey to qualify for the 2023 FIFAe Nations Cup – the most prestigious event of the FIFA eFootball calendar. All matches are played 2v2 on the PlayStation 5 version of FIFA 23 using FIFA Ultimate Team Squads.

The FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers will see eNational Team members AJ, AgitPower and Goalmachine take on 6 other nations in North and Central America to see who will advance to the 2023 FIFAe Nations Playoffs. Canada will compete against Costa Rica, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Panama, Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Canada will face each opponent twice, once on Friday 21 April, and again on Saturday 22 April. The knockout stages on Sunday 23 May will determine which 4 of the 7 teams will advance to the 2023 FIFAe Nations Playoffs – joining Mexico and USA who have already qualified via the 2023 FIFAe Nations Play-Ins. The 2023 FIFAe Nations Playoffs will be held 19-21 May and are the final qualification stage to determine which two nations will represent North and Central America at the 2023 FIFAe Nations Cup.

Canada Soccer’s eNational Team will play their matches from Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment’s Bell Gaming Centre in Toronto, Ontario – the new state-of-the art facility of Raptors Uprising GC, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors.
