Canada Soccer have announced that its Men’s National Team (CANMNT) roster for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ will be unveiled during a special available simultaneously on TSN, CTV, and RDS, and streaming on Crave through the live CTV channel on Friday, 29 May.
The event marks a historic moment for soccer in Canada, with CANMNT set to compete on home soil at the first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup™.
Canada was drawn into Group B at the official FIFA World Cup 26™ draw in Washington last December, alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina (UEFA Playoff A winner), Qatar, and Switzerland, with matches scheduled for 12 June in Toronto, 18 June in Vancouver, and 24 June in Vancouver.
“We have a group of players who are incredibly excited and ready to represent Canada at a home World Cup, in front of our own fans and in our own stadiums. We are looking forward to incredible support from Canadians and passion to push us through and are completely focused on making the country proud. Allez Les Rouges.” – MLS Canada Head Coach of the Men’s National Team, Jesse Marsch
“As the official broadcaster and streamer of FIFA World Cup 2026™, we are honoured to host Head Coach Jesse Marsch as he introduces the final roster of players who will represent Canada here on home soil at the biggest World Cup in history. The 29 May special precedes Canada’s pre-tournament international friendly window, which includes send-off matches against Uzbekistan on 1 June at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton and Republic of Ireland on 5 June at Stade Saputo in Montréal. Both matches will be presented by BMO, and air live on TSN and RDS.
