Canada Soccer seeks nominations for its President and Vice President

The Nominations Committee of the Canada Soccer Board of Directors calls for nominations for the elected positions of President and Vice President, such roles to commence immediately following the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Members on May 6, 2023.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS 

The current call for nominations is for the following positions: 

• President of Canada Soccer (to serve until 2024 Annual Meeting of the Members) 

• Vice President of Canada Soccer (to serve until 2026 Annual Meeting of the Members) 

In accordance with the By-Laws of Canada Soccer, to be nominated for the office of President or Vice President, a candidate must have served at least one (1) term on the Canada Soccer Board of Directors. Nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting of the Members shall not be permitted.

The Nominations Committee is seeking qualified candidates to play a role in the stewardship of an organization that reflects values such as diversity, engagement, transparency, accountability, and other attributes representing leading-edge governance.  Qualified candidates will have the competencies, expertise and experience necessary to further the vision and priorities of Canada Soccer’s Strategic Plan, leading to a legacy of success on and off the playing field.
