Canada Soccer and Infinity Records tap Boi-1da to be first National Teams Music Ambassador

Two new philanthropic programs announced to benefit youth soccer development

At a media event in downtown Toronto, Canada Soccer announced two new philanthropic programs as the Federation continues to build its fundraising efforts through the Canada Soccer Foundation. In partnership with Infinity Records, both organizations announced that 4x Diamond selling, Grammy award-winning Canadian producer and songwriter, Boi-1da will be Canada Soccer’s first National Teams Music Ambassador, which will include work on the new philanthropic program Perfect Pitch

Perfect Pitch is a music collaboration that will be creatively directed and executive produced by Boi-1da, aiming to unite Canadian talent and soccer fans globally. Infinity will release a series of anthems that celebrates the passion for both music and soccer across the country as Canada prepares to co-host FIFA World Cup 26™.

Proceeds generated by the program will be donated to the Canada Soccer Foundation to benefit youth soccer programs across Canada, leaving a legacy for the next generation of Canada Soccer stars.

“Being able to combine two things that I have a deep passion for – music and Canadian soccer – has always been something that I wanted to do. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to spearhead an initiative that allows me to create a musical identity for a program that I admire. Needless to say, it makes things even better for me that proceeds will go towards such a fulfilling cause. Everything about this moment is special.”

“Music and sports share an undeniable synergy — both have the power to ignite passion, bring people together, and create unforgettable moments. Whether it’s the energy of a stadium anthem or the intensity of a locker room playlist, music amplifies the spirit of competition. This collaboration isn’t just about soundtracking the game; it’s about building culture, driving engagement, and inspiring the next generation of athletes and fans alike.”
