Canada ranks seventh in CONCACAF

Canada did not move up within CONCACAF, but its point total did climb from 415 to 434 points. USA (834 points) and Mexico (827) remain the top-two ranked countries in CONCACAF.

Canada is the seventh-ranked country in CONCACAF in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings. Canada did not move up within CONCACAF, but its point total did climb from 415 to 434 points. USA (834 points) and Mexico (827) remain the top-two ranked countries in CONCACAF.

The FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings looks at each country’s international results from the last four years. The ranking takes into account the result, the importance of the match, the strength of the opponent, the regional strength, the time period, and the number of matches per year.

In October, Canada posted a 1:3 loss against Honduras and a 2:2 draw against Mexico. Canada is in fourth place in Group 2 of CONCACAF Stage III. Canada’s last match is next 19 November against Jamaica in Kingston, Jamaica.
