Both Canada and Puerto Rico are expected to dress 19 players for the Tuesday evening match. Canada is coming off a 4:1 victory against St. Lucia while Puerto Rico is coming off a 0:0 draw with St. Kitts and Nevis. Also on Tuesday 6 September, St. Lucia will host St. Kitts and Nevis.

Canada dominated the opposition in its opening match on Friday 2 September. Canada maintained nearly 80% off the match possession and fired 30 shots in 90 minutes of play. Josh Simpson scored two goals while Dwayne De Rosario and Will Johnson scored a goal apiece.

Puerto Rico was also the better team in its opening match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers(tm), but it could not connect for that winning goal. According to reports, Puerto Rico created five good chances, including a glorious late chance that substitute Héctor Ramos fired high from within the box.

Canada will have been in Puerto Rico for just over 48 hours by the time the match kicks off on Tuesday evening. The Monday session was the team’s one and only training session in Puerto Rico after a full day of travel on Sunday. The temperature has been 26°C with 89% humidity.
