Canada, Puerto Rico live on Sportsnet One

This Tuesday’s Canada-Puerto Rico match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One. The 6 September 2011 match kicks off live at 20.00 ET / 17.00 PT, with on-air commentary by Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest. The match falls on Match Day Two of CONCACAF Stage 2 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers(tm).

This will be the first-ever meeting between Canada and Puerto Rico at the national “A” level. Both teams are in Group D in CONCACAF Stage 2, with Canada holding first place with three points. Puerto Rico and St. Kitts and Nevis have one point each while St. Lucia is in last place with no points.



Coach Stephen Hart will have the same 19-player roster for the Tuesday 6 September match as he did for the 4:1 victory in Toronto on 2 September. In that 4:1 victory over St. Lucia, Canada out shot the opponent 30-2 and held close to 80 percent of possession in the match.



The Canada-Puerto Rico match will be played at Estadio Juán Rámon Loubriel in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The match kicks off at 20.00 local (20.00 ET / 17.00 PT).
