Soccer Hall of Fame of British Columbia

Eight former players, referees and builders have been honoured by the Soccer Hall of Fame of British Columbia as part of the Class of 2023. Former National Team players Drew Ferguson, Daniel Imhof and Nicci Wright along with 1940s national champion Davie Brown highlight the Class of 2023.

Referee John Nielsen along with builders William Azzi, Con Jones and Don Moslin have also been honoured as part of the Class of 2023 along with the 1990-93 Surrey Marlins who have been recognised as a Team of Distinction.

The Soccer Hall of Fame of British Columbia was founded in 2019 to recognize and honour excellence by British Columbians in soccer, whose example brought great credit to our sport and province. The founding members were the 96 British Columbians already honoured by the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame before 2019.

As part of the Class of 2023, Ferguson was a pro player in the NASL who also made 12 appearances for Canada, Imhof a Swiss champion who featured in the Bundesliga and made 36 appearances for Canada, while Wright was notably a Concacaf champion who made 37 appearances in goal for Canada. Brown, meanwhile, was a 1949 Dominion of Canada Football Championship winner with North Shore United FC.
