Bernier And Nash Added To Roster

Ottawa, Ontario – Injury woes continue to plague the Canadian Men’s World Cup Team prior to friendly against Estonia in Tallinn on Saturday, March 29th.



New injuries include Atiba Hutchinson out with an ankle injury suffered in training and Maycoll Canizalez who injured his knee in a reserve game. Canada had already lost the following players due to injuries; Lars Hirschfeld (hamstring), Tomasz Radzinski (groin), and Mike Klukowski (ankle).

Patrice Bernier who plays for Moss FK in Norway has been added to the roster. Bernier is a former member of the National Olympic Team and former Montreal Impact player.



Martin Nash of Macclesfield Town is another addition, bringing the roster to 15 players. The 16th player will be added prior to the game.



Hanover 96’s Julian de Guzman was already added to the roster.



The squad will assemble in Estonia on Wednesday Evening.
