In the Women’s World Cup international friendly, Canada lost 1-0 to Australia at Victoria’s Centennial Stadium Saturday afternoon. This was Canada’s second game against Australia, spliting the series 1-1.



Canada’s next tournament is the Football Confederation’s Women Gold Cup at the end of October. Canada will compete in Group B along with Jamaica, Haiti and Costa Rica at Centennial Stadium in Victoria, BC.
