They were “Made for this”!

Building on the work with its well received “True Patriot Love” FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign, the Canadian Soccer Association has introduced a theme for the Canadian Women’s National Team’s journey toward Olympic qualification. Titled “Made for this”, the campaign aims at highlighting the strength and commitment of the players in their quest of becoming a top soccer player.
“We felt this approach of showcasing the growth our athletes from their early years in our sport to their current status as role models with the Women’s National Team will resonate with families, and especially with young girls,” said Peter Montopoli, General Secretary, Canadian Soccer Association. “We are pleased that hosting this CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying is providing Canadian youth valuable access to world-class soccer.”
Different executions of the campaign will be seen throughout the coming weeks featuring some of Canada’s Women’s National Team members sharing a picture from their childhood participation in soccer. Captain Christine Sinclair is the athlete portrayed in the first creative released.
