10 Clubs Selected for the Accessible Soccer Project

We are thrilled to announce the selection of ten exceptional clubs across Canada for their dedication to breaking down barriers and creating accessible soccer opportunities in their communities. These clubs have been chosen as part of our Accessible Soccer Project, an initiative committed to promoting Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) within the sport of soccer.

“Through collaboration with Soccability Canada and Canada Soccer, these clubs are helping to reshape soccer, ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, can participate as players, coaches, match officials, or administrators. Their commitment to inclusion is truly inspiring, and we are excited to see both new and re-imagined adapted soccer programs take flight under their leadership.” – Sara McConaghy, Director of Community & Fund Development

“Soccability Canada was really pleased to see not only the depth of applicant for this project but the geographic spread. Access to inclusive soccer programs is not unique to any one community, and we hope that by connecting with new and improving programs across the country we will demonstrate this is relevant to all soccer organisations.” – Matt Greenwood, Director Soccability Canada
