Five times a runner up in seven seasons, Vancouver Whitecaps FC won the Canadian Championship for the first time in 2015. Led by coach Carl Robinson, Vancouver went undefeated with two wins and two draws in 2015. They beat FC Edmonton 3-2 in the semi-finals and then beat Impact de Montréal 4-2 in the Canadian final.

The Voyageurs Cup has been awarded to the Canadian Championship winner since 2008. Created by the Voyageurs Canadian Supporters group, the trophy represents Canadian fans' commitment to the game in our country.
