The Pre-Competition Meeting is the first major in-venue event for qualified teams at Canada Soccer’s national amateur competitions. The Pre-Competition Meeting, hosted on the night before the first day of matches, provides important information to all qualified teams to support their preparation and participation in the Canada Soccer event.
At least one member from each Team Delegation List (ie, an administrator or a coach) must attend the Canada Soccer Pre-Competition Meeting. Each PTSO Representative will also attend the Pre-Competition Meeting.
The Canada Soccer Match Commissioner and the General Coordinator chair the Pre-Competition Meeting. Before the start of the meeting, the Assistant General Coordinator supports all the qualified teams by checking (and approving) the uniforms (each team brings an example of each set of colours – the jerseys, shorts and socks for outfield players and goalkeepers).
The time and location for the Pre-Competition Meeting will be published in the Club Information Guide for each national amateur competition (the Pre-Competition Meeting begins at 20h00 after the uniform check).
