Canada Soccer’s National Teams Programs have a wide-range of talent development and talent identification programs and processes aimed at ensuring that the maximum number of talented players at all levels of the game are assessed for participation in National Team playing opportunities. In most cases, a player must be identified as a high-performance player in their respective province and be playing in a high-performance environment to participate in a Canada Soccer National Team event. For more information visit the respective Canada Soccer EXCEL program pages for the Men’s National Team Program and the Women’s National Team Program.
Canada Soccer’s Coach Education Program provides coaches with training and certification programs, as well as, the Coach Licensing Program for qualified coaches working with players of all ages in the game. Courses are run annually both as online learning opportunities and in-person workshops across the country. For more information visit www.canadasoccer.com/coach.
