Ottawa, Ontario – The Canadian Soccer Association today confirmed that the scheduled series between the Women’s World Cup Teams of Canada and China, set for September 19 and 21 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan will be played.
The Chinese team, currently in Columbus, Ohio where they were taking part in the U.S. Women’s Cup, will travel by bus to Kansas City on Friday and will then fly to Saskatoon on Sunday, September 16. The Canadian team is expected to begin assembling in Saskatoon on Saturday.
The CSA wishes to again extend its condolences to the families of the victims of Tuesday’s attacks in the United States.
